    Teen reported missing in South Sacramento has been found safe, police say

    Update: Elk Grove Police said the teen was found safe Wednesday night.

    (FOX40.COM) — Sacramento-area law enforcement is searching for a teenage girl who was last seen Wednesday morning on the south side of the city, close to the border with Sacramento County.

    She was last seen around 11 a.m. on September 11 near the corner of Florin Road and Luther Drive, close to Luther Burbank High School.

    The teen is described as measuring 5 feet 9 inches, weighing around 140 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. She reportedly wore a tan shirt, sweatpants and black Crocs, and is believed to be on foot.

    According to the California Highway Patrol, an Endangered Missing Advisory was issued on behalf of Elk Grove Police.
