    Business fire prompts evacuations near Yuba County Airport

    (FOX40.COM) — Several people in the community of Olivehurst in Yuba County had to evacuate their homes Wednesday evening after a nearby structure fire , according to the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office.

    The agency said the fire was at a business located just east of the Yuba County Airport, along Arboga Road and south of Melody Road.

    The airport is located south of Marysville, about 38 miles north of Sacramento.

    The sheriff’s office said the residents were told to evacuate their homes as a precaution and that there was a large amount of fire crews responding to the fire.

    A stretch of nearby Canal St. was closed for some time, and residents were asked to avoid Arboga Rd. near the airport, according to the sheriff’s office.
