Sacramento area could see rain, cool temperatures next week

(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento area could get some rain at the start of next week.

The National Weather Service said there is a 10% chance of precipitation greater than 0.1 inch, a 55% chance on Monday and a 30% chance on Tuesday. Stockton has a similar chance of getting some wet weather.

Higher elevations will have an even more improved chance of getting rain.

A jet stream will also bring in cooler temperatures from up north starting Sunday.

Daily highs are expected to top out in the mid-70s to the low 80s for a few days around the same time.
