(FOX40.COM) — A student was arrested in connection with a threat made against a Del Oro High School staff member, the Placer County Sheriff’s Office said.

The sheriff’s office said Wednesday that it was “aware of a vague threat made toward a staff member” and that it was working to figure out who made the threat.

The sheriff’s department also said that it had increased its presence on campus in response.

On Thursday the sheriff’s office announced it had tracked the threat to a 16-year-old student and arrested them.
