Jesuit wins 53rd Holy Bowl, 7-0 over Christian Brothers

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KTXL) – The 53rd Holy Bowl was a low-scoring affair. And neither team’s offense scored.

But the end result, 7-0, favored Jesuit for the fifth time in a row in this rivalry.

In a series that began in 1969, the Marauders used a 27-yard interception return for a touchdown by Alex Dewar to beat the Falcons at Hughes Stadium on the campus of Sacramento City College.

Jesuit (3-0) improves to 36-16-2 all-time against Christian Brothers.
