    Fairfield hit-and-run crash hospitalizes bicyclist

    (FOX40.COM) — A bicyclist who was hit by a vehicle Friday night was left hospitalized, according to the Fairfield Police Department.

    Around 7:55 p.m., several 911 calls were made about a crash between a vehicle and a bicyclist at the intersection of Link Road and Pittman Road. FPD responded and said the victim was transported to the hospital and is in stable condition.

    Officers said the involved driver fled the scene. Police did not get a description of the suspect vehicle and asked for the public’s help to locate the hit-and-run driver.
