Sacramento middle schooler arrested after bringing gun on campus

(FOX40.COM) — A student at Will C. Wood Middle School was arrested on Friday after being found to have a firearm, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

Police say that it is unclear if this student is connected to the nationwide trend of school threats that have also been made to students in the Sacramento region.

The student was arrested at around 2 p.m. on Friday after a student noticed the firearm and alerted staff.
