    Lockdown lifted at Lodi High School; alarm accidentally pressed, district says

    (FOX40.COM) — Officials lifted a lockdown at Lodi High School shortly before noon Wednesday, indicating that no one was in danger.

    According to Lodi Unified School District, a substitute secretary accidentally pressed an alarm on campus at 10:43 a.m., prompting a response from Lodi Police.

    The district says that at no time were any students or staff in danger. Lodi Police said there was no threat or significant incident to report , and that there were no detentions or arrests.

    All school activities resumed and parents are able to pick up their children, the district said.

    The situation comes as many school around the country received unfounded threats, mainly on social media, leading school officials and law enforcement to step up safety protocols.
