    Three people rescued from house fire in Carmichael

    (FOX40.COM) — Three people were rescued from a house fire in Carmichael on Wednesday morning, according to Metro Fire of Sacramento.

    Firefighters responded around 5:30 a.m. to the home along La Field Drive to find a single room engulfed in flames.

    Person fatally shot by officers after pursuit through Yuba County

    Conditions inside the home were described as hoarder-like, which created a large amount of material to feed the fire.

    Three people were rescued from the home and transported to an area hospital as a precaution.

    The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
