Roseville Chef Anthony Vo to compete on Hell’s Kitchen

(FOX40.COM) — Roseville Chef Anthony Vo is competing in the latest season of FOX’s Hell’s Kitchen.

Vo is the executive chef for Sonrisa Senior Living in Roseville.

“It was a humbling experience,” Vo said. “… It was hard. I just really had to trust my training and trust all my experiences I had been through. Just put my head down and cook, keep my mouth shut and try not to get yelled at.”

Despite cooking for seniors, who often have dietary restrictions, Vo said he finds ways to keep his creations delicious.

“Its one of the things we try to highlight,” Vo said. “A lot of people think you can’t have flavor with low salt items or diabetic items… We want our families to come in and dine with our seniors because we want you guys to have the element of a restaurant and that home feeling as well.”

The latest season of the long-running Gordan Ramsey-hosted competition premiers Thursday.
