Tim Walz lands in Sacramento for fundraiser

(FOX40.COM) — Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Tim Walz is making a fundraising stop in Sacramento Tuesday.

The governor of Minnesota landed at the Sacramento International Airport around 12:30 p.m. and was greeted by Democratic leaders like Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg and Lt. governor Eleni Kounalakis.

Gov. Gavin Newsom said he also plans to meet with Walz during his visit.

Earlier this week Walz made fundraising stops around Southern California before flying to Seattle.

On Monday he also made an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Show and visited an exhibition dedicated to the victims of the Oct. 7 attack in Israel.

At the beginning of September, the Harris campaign said it had $404 million cash on hand.

Around the same time, the Trump campaign said it had roughly $295 million.
