    Pedestrian seriously injured after being struck by vehicle in Vacaville

    (FOX40.COM) — A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Vacaville Thursday morning, the Vacaville Police Department said.

    According to the police department, the collision happened around 8 a.m. on Alamo Drive near El Camino Avenue.

    Man booked on homicide charge following fatal Sacramento crash

    Police said evidence and witnesses suggested that the man was walking in the roadway at the time of the collision.

    The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.

    The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with officers.
