    Yuba City Police investigate fatal shooting

    (FOX40.COM) — A man was fatally shot in Yuba City Thursday night, the Yuba City Police Department said.

    According to police, officers responded to a report of shots fired near the intersection of Percy Avenue and Wilson Avenue around 10:50 p.m.

    One dead, one seriously injured in Tuolumne City fire

    Officers found a man, 42, on the ground with a gunshot wound.

    Police said “life-saving measures” were attempted but that the victim was pronounced dead.

    The Yuba City Police Department is still investigating and asks that anyone with information about the shooting contact them at (530) 822-4661.
