(FOX40.COM) — A three-vehicle collision in Stanislaus County on Tuesday morning injured nearly 20 people including more than a dozen school children, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officers say that a Honda sedan was waiting behind a school bus with its flashing red lights on at Crows Landing Road and El Katrina Lane when the collision occurred.

A semi-truck and trailer approaching from the rear of the Honda did not notice the stopped vehicles when it plowed into the sedan and continued to hit the rear of the bus.

The 17 elementary school students sustained minor injuries. The driver of the Honda and the semi-truck were taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Images from the CHP show the front of the semi-truck to be completely crushed and the whole rear of the Honda to be crumpled and almost unrecognizable.

One.Did the truck driver even have a trucking license? And how long have you been in the United States? She didn't tell you those things and when they don't tell you. That probably true, but it should be arrested.Loose his license if he has a legit one

News deal better get their story straight now there’s 19 students. I thought there was 17 students as a former school bus driver retired people don’t see a big yellow bus with red flashing lights and a soft sign just an FYI, and if it was any bigger than what it is, they wouldn’t see it.
