Sacramento CHP issues 100+ citations during US-50 morning enforcement

(FOX40.COM) — Sacramento area California Highway Patrol offices heavily patrolled US-50 on Thursday morning to combat speeding and hazardous driving on the highway.

Officers with the East Sacramento, South Sacramento and North Sacramento offices issued over 140 citations during the heightened enforcement period.

Citations for speeding, distracted driving, seatbelt violations and other moving violations were issued along the heavily trafficked highway.

And don’t forget about all the parking tickets that have gone up like $20 dollars more. And they don’t trim the trees downtown so you can see the signs. Sacramento needs the money!But I am glad that they are ticketed if they are driving dangerously. I swear we have the worst drivers.
