Trash fees increasing for City of Arab residents

Man killed in Athens police shooting identified
ATHENS, Ala. — An investigation now underway after a suspect is dead following an officer-involved shooting in Athens. According to Athens Police, officers responded to a call of the suspect threatening a homeowner with a gun. When police arrived, the suspect fled the scene.
