Aspen Creek Grill to break ground on Greenwood location

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Greenwood residents will soon have a new place to eat.

Next week, Aspen Creek Grill will break ground on its newest restaurant, located 1287 N. Emerson Ave. near Walmart. It will mark the second Aspen Creek Grill location in the Indy area.

The groundbreaking ceremony is set for 1 p.m. on Monday, July 22.

“We are ecstatic to be breaking ground on our newest Aspen Creek Grill restaurant in Greenwood,” said Bern Rehberg, president of Aspen Creek Grill. “This community has been so welcoming to us, and we look forward to bringing an inviting restaurant atmosphere and scratch made food to this rapidly growing area in the coming months.”

“Our team at Aspen Creek Grill prides ourselves on making our food from scratch daily and providing a warm, relaxing experience for guests,” said Mike Bennett, the managing partner who previously served in the same role at the Noblesville location. “It’s been an honor to serve the people of Noblesville for so many years, and I look forward to personally introducing a new community in Greenwood to the Aspen Creek Grill dining experience.”

The chain serves up Black Angus steaks, salads, ribs and burgers in a family-friendly atmosphere inspired by a mountain lodge. It features a full bar and daily drink specials.

The Greenwood location will be the chain’s eighth. Aspen Creek Grill also has restaurants in Texas (Amarillo, Irving, Lubbock, San Antonio and Tyler) and Kentucky (Louisville), along with two Indiana locations (Noblesville and the forthcoming Greenwood restaurant).
