INDIANAPOLIS — More than 850,000 people descended on the Indiana State Fairgrounds during the 167th iteration of the Indiana State Fair, an increase from 2023’s attendance.

According to a news release from the state fair, this year’s attendance reached 854,236, compared to 2023’s attendance of 840,414. Officials said many vendors and partners also reported record sales during this year’s fair, which ran from Aug. 2 through Aug. 18.

More than 10,000 exhibitors and youth competitors showed or displayed more than 52,000 animal and non-animal projects during the 2024 fair, according to the release.
