When officers arrived, they located a male and female with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. They were transported to an area hospital for treatment, but investigators did not list their conditions.

A Greenwood Police Department spokesperson confirmed 36-year-old Marcus Dewayne Mundy was arrested after the shooting. He has been preliminarily charged with attempted murder, battery committed with a deadly weapon and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.

Mundy was booked into the Johnson County Jail just before 4 a.m. Saturday. Jail records indicate Mundy is currently being held without bond.

This is a developing story. It will be updated when new information has been made available.
