Police tracked the vehicle to 126 th Street and Reynolds Drive through Flock license plate cameras. Officers then used a drone and found Beech asleep in the car. Police made a “tactical approach” to the vehicle and arrested him without further incident.

Beech faces preliminary charges of theft and auto theft (both felonies) and unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle (a misdemeanor). Due to a past felony conviction, he’s prohibited from having a firearm and faces an additional charge of unlawful carrying of a handgun with a felony conviction.

The Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office will make a final charging decision in the case.
