WESTVILLE, Ill. — An Indiana man was arrested after he traveled to Illinois to engage in “unlawful acts” with a minor.

According to a Facebook post from the Westville Police Department in Illinois, officers were dispatched to 300 block of Moore Street in Westville around 2:09 p.m. on Aug. 31 after receiving word of an incident of domestic violence that had occurred in a vehicle.

After a search of the area, police found the car they had been called to check out in the 300 block of Jules Street. Inside the car, officers found 30-year-old A’Jalin Kimble of Marion and a teenage passenger.

During their investigation of the incident, Westville police determined Kimble had traveled to the area to meet the juvenile and engage in “unlawful acts.” Kimble was later detained and preliminarily charged with travelling to meet a minor and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

As of this article’s publication, no additional information on the incident had been made available.
