INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metropolitan police arrested a 20-year-old and a teenager after a Monday night traffic stop on the west side.

According to an IMPD incident report, officers pulled the car over around 7:15 p.m. Monday near 30 th Street and Georgetown Road.

The report indicated that police stopped a 20-year-old male and a 16-year-old male. IMPD would only confirm the age of the 20-year-old suspect after being asked for additional information.

Officers confiscated firearms during the incident, along with marijuana and more than $2,000 in cash, the report said.

Preliminary charges against the 20-year-old suspect included possession of a machine gun, dealing in marijuana and resisting law enforcement. The teen was arrested on a firearms charge, the report indicated.
