IMPD: Child located after previously going missing

UPDATE 7:37 p.m.: IMPD said the child has been located and was found safe.

INDIANAPOLIS — The Missing Persons Detectives at the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are attempting to locate a missing child, and are asking for the public’s help in doing so.

Per IMPD, the juvenile was last seen on Thursday in the 1400 block of N Sheffield Avenue.

The child may be in need of medical assistance. If found, IMPD asks citizens to call 911, the IMPD Missing Persons Unit at (317) 327-6160 or Crime Stoppers at (317) 262-TIPS (8477).
