Indiana author releases new historical fiction book

INDIANAPOLIS — A former sportscaster based out of Indiana spoke with FOX59 Anchor Angela Ganote on Friday regarding her new novel.

Anne Butler Montgomery’s new novel is titled “Your Forgotten Sons.” A work of historical fiction, the novel follows Bud Richardville’s time in the U.S. Army in the early 1940s, as the United States prepares for the invasion of Europe, as well as his time in the Graves Registration Service. and the relationships he makes during his time there.

According to her website, Montgomery was a television sportscaster as well as a writer for newspaper and magazines. Montgomery, who has written five other books, was previously the studio host for the Phoenix Suns in the NBA.
