EDINBURGH, Ind. — Authorities are on the scene of a “serious” crash that brought traffic to a standstill in the northbound and southbound lanes of 900 North and U.S. 31 in Edinburgh early Friday evening.

The Edinburgh Police Department confirmed in a Facebook post that first responders responded to a crash in the area of U.S. 31 and 900 North near County Road 900 N. in Edinburgh.
