INDIANAPOLIS — A Terre Haute-based Holocaust museum will host an event in Indianapolis on Saturday to raise awareness about the museum and its message of the power of forgiveness.

The Candles Holocaust Museum and Education Center will host “An Evening of Light” starting at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, located at 3000 North Meridian Street.

The museum and education center, located at 1523 S 3rd St. in Terre Haute. was founded by Eva Kor, a Holocaust survivor who traveled the world telling her family’s story, in the 1990s.

Alex Kor, Eva Kor’s son and a member of the Candles board of directors, talked about the upcoming event on the FOX59 Morning News on Tuesday, alongside Amy Grove, the community outreach coordinator for Candles.
