IMPD responds to fatal crash on east side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are investigating a fatal crash on the east side of Indianapolis Friday morning.

According to a news release from the department, officers responded to the 4200 block of E Washington St. around 10:18 a.m. After officers arrived, they confirmed the crash was fatal.

At this time, E Washington St. is closed in all directions, according to the department. IMPD’s fatal crash investigation team are investigating the incident.
