INDIANAPOLIS — On Tuesday, Indianapolis residents will be able to start participating in November’s general election through early voting.
Marion County voters will be able to vote early at the Indianapolis City-County Building starting on Tuesday and ending at 12 p.m. on Nov. 4. The Indianapolis City-County Building is located at 200 E. Washington St. in downtown Indianapolis.
The Indianapolis City-County Building will be open the following dates/hours for early voting:
- Oct. 8-25: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Oct. 12-13, 19-20, 26-27: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Oct. 28-31: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Nov. 1: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Nov. 2: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Nov. 3: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Nov. 4: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Voter registration deadline approaching in Indiana Additional early voting satellite sites will open on Oct. 26 throughout the city of Indianapolis. The satellite sites will be open through Nov. 3 and include:
- Decatur Township Government Center
- Located at 5410 S High School Rd.
- Oct. 28-Nov. 1: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Oct. 26-27 and Nov. 2-3: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Franklin Township Government Center
- Located at 6231 S. Arlington Ave.
- Oct. 28-Nov. 1: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Oct. 26-27 and Nov. 2-3: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- International Marketplace Coalition
- Located at 4233 Lafayette Rd.
- Oct. 28-Nov. 1: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Oct. 26-27 and Nov. 2-3: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- MSD Lawrence Education & Community Center
- Located at 6501 Sunnyside Rd.
- Oct. 28-Nov. 1: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Oct. 26-27 and Nov. 2-3: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Perry Township Government Center
- Located at 4925 Shelby St.
- Oct. 28-Nov. 1: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Oct. 26-27 and Nov. 2-3: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- St. Luke’s United Methodist Church
- Located at 100 W 86th St.
- Oct. 28-Nov. 1: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Oct. 26-27 and Nov. 2-3: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Thatcher Park Community Center
- Located at 4649 W Vermont St.
- Oct. 28-Nov. 1: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Oct. 26-27 and Nov. 2-3: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Warren Township Government Center
- Located at 501 N Post Rd.
- Oct. 28-Nov. 1: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Oct. 26-27 and Nov. 2-3: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
All Marion County voters are able to vote early. To participate in early voting, voters will need to present a valid photo ID .
The state’s voter registration deadline is Monday, according to the Indiana Secretary of State’s office. After Monday, Hoosiers who are not registered to vote will not be able to participate in November’s general election.
A number of races will be on 2024’s general election ballot in the state of Indiana, including:
- President
- U.S. Senator
- U.S. Representative
- Governor
- Attorney General
- Various State Representative and State Senator positions
- Other positions like school board trustees and judicial retention questions.
