    Halloween 2024: Trick-or-treat times in central Indiana

    INDIANAPOLIS — The spooky season has arrived–and Halloween is almost here!

    Most Indiana communities will hold their official trick-or-treat hours on Thursday, Oct. 31. You’ll find times for several Indiana cities, towns and counties below.

    Hours fall on Oct. 31 unless otherwise noted.

    Bartholomew County

    • Columbus: 5:30-8 p.m.
    • Hope: 5-8 p.m.

    Blackford County

    • Hartford City: 5-8 p.m.

    Boone County

    • Jamestown: 6-8 p.m.
    • Lebanon: 6-9 p.m.
    • Thorntown: 6-9 p.m. The town also has a Halloween parade that begins at 6 p.m. and marches down Market St. to Main St.
    • Whitestown: 6-9 p.m.
    • Zionsville: 5:30-8:30 p.m.

    Brown County

    • Nashville: 5-8 p.m.

    Cass County

    • Galveston: Parade lineup begins at 5 p.m. at the Galveston Community Building, with the parade beginning at 5:30. Trick-or-treating will take place from 6-8 p.m.
    • Logansport: 6-8 p.m. on both Thursday, Oct. 31, and Friday, Nov. 1.

    Clinton County

    • Frankfort: 5-9 p.m. There will also be a Trick-or-Treating on the Square event from 5:30-7 p.m.
    • Rossville: 6-8 p.m.

    Decatur County

    • Greensburg: 5-8 p.m.

    Delaware County

    • Daleville: 6-8 p.m.
    • Muncie: Trunk or Treat on Oct. 19, 6-8 p.m., at the Heekin Park basketball court.
    • Yorktown: 6-8 p.m.

    Fayette County

    • Connersville: TBA

    Grant County

    • Marion: 5-9 p.m.
    • Gas City: 5-8 p.m.

    Hamilton County

    • Arcadia: 6-8 p.m.
    • Carmel: 5-8 p.m.
    • Fishers: 5:30-8:30 p.m.
    • Cicero: 6-8 p.m.
    • Noblesville: 5:30-8 p.m.
    • Sheridan: TBA
    • Westfield: 5-8 p.m.

    Hancock County

    • Cumberland: TBA
    • Fortville: 5-8 p.m.
    • Greenfield: 5-8 p.m.
    • McCordsville: 5:30-8:30 p.m.

    • North Vernon: Sweet Street event to be held from 5-7:30 p.m. in downtown North Vernon.

    • Bargersville: Still finalizing hours; “Trunk-or-Treat” is Oct. 25 from 6-8 p.m.
    • Edinburgh: 6-8:30 p.m.
    • Franklin: 6-8:30 p.m.
    • Greenwood: 6-8:30 p.m.
    • New Whiteland: 6-8:30 p.m.
    • Trafalgar: 6-8:30 p.m.
    • Whiteland: 6-8:30 p.m.

    Lawrence County

    • Bedford: 5:30-8:30 p.m.

    Madison County

    • Alexandria: 5-8 p.m.
    • Anderson: 5-8:30 p.m.
    • Elwood: Trunk-or-Treat event to be held at Callaway Park on Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. Traditional trick-or-treating will happen on Oct. 31 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

    Marion County

    • Beech Grove: 5:30-8:30 p.m.
    • Clermont: 6-8 p.m.
    • Indianapolis: TBA
