INDIANAPOLIS — The annual NBA General Managers survey has been released, and the “small market” Indiana Pacers are featured several times – including being named the most fun team to watch in the league.
Every year, the National Basketball Association conducts a survey of all 30 NBA GMs prior to the start of a new season. Questions on the survey include “Who is the best player in the NBA” and “Which team will win the championship?”
While the Pacers were not listed by top execs in either of those categories, they were featured as answers to a slew of other exciting questions. These include some thinking that All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton is the best passer in the game and others thinking the Pacers are the most fun NBA team to watch.

- Pacers at #1 (receiving 37% of votes)
- Which team will have the league’s most efficient offense this season?
- Pacers at #2 behind Boston Celtics
- Which team’s level of success this season is toughest to predict?
- Pacers receive an honorable mention
- Which player is the best passer?
- Which player has the best basketball IQ?
The Pacers are one of the most exciting young teams in the NBA, making it to the Eastern Conference Finals last season before losing to the eventual champion Boston Celtics. The Pacers’ NBA season is set to tip off at 7 p.m. on Oct. 23 on the road against the Detroit Pistons.
