IMPD: At least 1 killed in crash on Indy’s near north side

Update (Oct. 18)

In an update from IMPD on Friday, officers said the crash on Thursday evening involved a car and a motorcycle in the area of 3200 Fall Creek Parkway.

After the crash, an adult female was transported to a local hospital in stable condition and an adult man was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The male was later pronounced dead.

INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis metro police are investigating after a crash left at least one person dead on the near north side of Indianapolis Thursday night.

Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded around 7 p.m. to the area of E. 32 Street and Fall Creek Parkway N. Drive after receiving reports that a personal injury accident had occurred in the area.

IMPD said officers arrived on the scene and transported at least one individual to an area hospital where they later died.

As of this article’s publication, IMPD has not provided any information on how many vehicles were involved in Thursday’s fatal crash or if other individuals sustained any injuries.
