    Man charged with exploitation of minor in Randolph County, sheriff says

    RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — A man was charged for the sexual exploitation of a minor, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office reports.

    On Saturday, RCSO received a report of a possible sex offense upon a minor and opened an investigation against Brandon Dale Sylvester, 32.

    On Wednesday, Sylvester was arrested and taken to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was served the warrant.

    He was issued a $25,000 secured bond. His first appearance in court is Thursday.

    RCSO says the investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be sought.
