(WGHP) — After a few pleasant days, heat and humidity are back.

Partly cloudy skies on Saturday with highs in the upper 80s. Factor in the humidity, it will feel like temperatures are in the low to perhaps middle 90s. The chance of rain is 25%.

A cold front will move through the state on Sunday. Sunday will bring us our best chances for scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms with highs in the upper 80s. Feels like temperatures will be in the lower 90s. There’s a 40% chance of rain.

Behind the cold front, less humid and cooler air will move in. Monday will be partly cloudy with highs in the lower 80s. The chance of rain is 30%.

Tuesday through Friday will be really nice. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies with lows in the lower 60s. There’s a chance a few neighborhoods could see morning temperatures in the upper 50s. Our high temperatures Tuesday through Friday will be in the lower 80s.

In the Tropics, Hurricane Ernesto will move close to or over Bermuda on Saturday. After Bermuda, Ernesto will race into the open Atlantic. Meanwhile this weekend, our beaches will feel the impacts of Ernesto. Dangerous surf, strong rip currents, and beach erosion are possible.
