PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — An area of unsettled weather could bring an isolated storm or shower this evening clearing out late tonight.

A cold front headed this way is expected to bring a chance for another round of scattered isolated storms Sunday after.

Sunday’s high will be a very warm and humid 88 with a heat index in the 90’s.

Once that cold front comes through, we will have much cooler and dryer weather for the rest of the week.

Highs Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will be 78-80 with lows dipping into the 50’s for many of us.
