65-year-old man identified as victim in Winston-Salem homicide

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — The Winston-Salem Police Department has revealed the identity of the man who was killed in a shooting on Aug. 15.

The victim of the deadly shooting has been identified as 65-year-old Jeffery Alexander White.

Police found White suffering from a gunshot at a home on the 5200 block of Oak Ridge Court.

EMS and the Winston-Salem Fire Department performed attempted life-saving measures. However, White would be declared dead at the scene.

His death is being investigated as a homicide.

There is no suspect information available at this time.
