Longtime vendor at North Carolina State Fair passes away ‘unexpectedly’

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A longtime vendor at the N.C. State Fair has died.

The N.C. State Fair announced the passing of Felicia Turrentine Daniel, the owner and operator of Chef’s D’Lites, on Thursday. Her death was described as “unexpected”.

“Felicia dazzled us with her unique and delicious sweet creations as well as her welcoming presence,” the fair said in a statement. “She will be missed.”
