PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — Temperatures will be in the 70s this evening with sunny, clear skies. If you’re heading out on the town and staying out late, maybe bring a light jacket with you as temperatures will fall into the mid-60s by 11 p.m.

Sunday morning will start off in the low 60s, cool and comfortable. Sunshine will help warm temperatures into the mid-80s again Sunday afternoon, although a couple degrees warmer than Saturday.

The heat and humidity return into next week with morning temperatures on Monday back in the mid-60s and highs reaching the upper 80s. Mostly sunny skies stick around but southeast winds return which will help to increase the heat and humidity throughout the week.

Mostly sunny skies Tuesday with morning temperatures in the upper 60s and highs in the low 90s.

A stray shower can’t be completely ruled out on Wednesday but for now, the chance remains below 20%. Morning temperatures return to the low 70s with afternoon temperatures in the low 90s. Mostly sunny skies remain but we’ll slowly see an increase in clouds into the evening and overnight hours.

Partly cloudy skies Thursday with morning temperatures in the low 70s and highs in the low 90s. The chance for rain is 20%.

Partly cloudy skies again Friday with a 20% chance for rain. Temperatures remain in the low 70s in the morning with highs in the low 90s.
