    Juvenile victim found with gunshot wound in Burlington

    BURLINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) — A juvenile victim was shot in Burlington, and police are looking for answers.

    At 8:18 p.m. on Monday, police responded to a report of a shooting on the 700 block of Shawnee Drive.

    At the scene, officers found a juvenile victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The child was taken to a local hospital.

    Police say the wound appears to be non-life-threatening.

    Officers have not released any information regarding possible motives or suspects.
