SCRANTON, S.C. (WBTW) — A Florence County lottery player left the gas station without filling up after she won $300,000, lottery officials said.

The woman called the Little Fisher Truck Stop clerk over to look at her ticket. The clerk had simple advice for her when they saw it, saying “get in your car and drive out of this parking lot.”

The woman did just that, hurrying home with $300,000, lottery officials said.

“I was completely numb, confused and relieved,” the woman told South Carolina Education Lottery officials. “I drove off and forgot to pump the gas that I had paid for.”

There are three more available $300,00 prizes in Wild Cash Multiplier Extra Play. The odds of winning are 1 in 740,000. The Little Fisher Truck Stop in Scranton received a $3,000 commission for selling the winning ticket.
