Bellemeade Street in Greensboro expected to be closed until Friday afternoon

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) – A road in downtown Greensboro will be completely closed until Friday at 4 p.m.

The road closure is centered around Bellemeade Street between Commerce Place and North Green Street.

There are signs blocking both ends of the street, alerting drivers of the closure. There are detours in place to help get around the construction.

The sidewalk closest to the construction is also closed.

Drivers and pedestrians are asked to avoid the area until the construction is complete.
