    Suspect sought in fatal shooting of 17-year-old in North Carolina

    SHELBY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – A teenager was shot and killed over the weekend in a Shelby and a suspect is being sought, Shelby Police confirmed with Queen City News on Monday.

    Officers responded to calls regarding the incident around 3 p.m. on Saturday at Jefferson Park near 1000 Buffalo Street. A 17-year-old who has not yet been identified was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was transported to an area medical center where they were later pronounced dead.

    An initial investigation stated that a verbal altercation took place at a different location between the parties involved and that the teen suffered a single gunshot wound. Shelby Police called this a “senseless and tragic act of gun violence.”

    No arrests have been made at this time and this remains an active investigation.

    Cops in this town couldn't find their way out of a wet paper bag. The only thing they really know how to do is harass innocent people. Hell they don't even do anything about red light and traffic stop runners, they just sit there and watch the laws be broke
