(WGHP) — Wednesday will be another nice weather day in the Piedmont.

Partly cloudy and pleasant on Wednesday with morning temperatures in the mid to upper 50s and afternoon highs in the lower 80s.

Meanwhile in Louisiana, Francine should make landfall as a hurricane during the day on Wednesday. Ahead of the system, clouds will begin to move into the Piedmont. So, Thursday will be mostly cloudy with highs in the upper 70s.

Francine will weaken into a remnant low over the Mississippi River valley on Friday. In the Piedmont, look for cloudy skies with scattered showers. Highs on Friday will be in the middle 70s with the chance of rain at 40%.

What’s left of Francine will continue to keep our weather unsettled: Saturday will be cloudy with scattered showers and highs will be in the middle 70s. The chance of rain is 40%.

Clouds will remain in the forecast on Sunday with highs in the upper 70s. The chance of rain is 30%.

Monday, partly cloudy with highs in the upper 70s and a 25% chance of rain.

Mostly cloudy Tuesday with highs remaining in the upper 70s and a 30% chance of rain.
