RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A man who worked for Food Lion was found dead in the store’s supply freezer on the 4500 block of Capital Boulevard in Raleigh, the Raleigh Police Department reported Tuesday.

Police said they were called to that location where employees found their coworker.

An officer said the investigation ruled that the man had a medical emergency on Monday night before dying inside the freezer.

No foul play is suspected after an investigation by RPD as well as OSHA and other labor and safety authorities.

it should be the store management responsibility to check everything in that store before they leave all the storage places and along with the restrooms and it's not just Food Lion all stores to do that. Praying for the family of the person who passed away may he rest in peace
