Isolated to scattered showers possible Friday in the Triad

(WGHP) — Mostly cloudy skies this evening with isolated to scattered showers possible. A light rain is possible through 7 p.m. so bring a raincoat with you for any Friday night plans, just in case. Temperatures will be in the upper 60s and low 70s.

We’ll wake up to mostly cloudy skies Saturday with temperatures in the mid-60s. Clouds will steadily decrease into Saturday afternoon leaving us with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the upper 70s. A stray shower can’t be ruled out Saturday but the chance for rain is less than 20%.

We’ll repeat Saturday’s weather again on Sunday with morning temperatures in the mid-60s and mostly cloudy skies. Afternoon highs reach the upper 70s with partly cloudy skies. A stray shower still can’t be ruled out with less than a 20% chance for rain.

Breezy conditions will remain in place through the weekend and start of next week with northeast winds between 10 to 15 mph.

Rain chances begin increasing into the start of next week as we monitor a low-pressure system off the southeastern United States. Temperatures will be in the low 60s Monday morning with highs in the mid-70s. Isolated showers will be possible with a 25% chance for rain.

The best chance for rain looks to be Tuesday with the potential for scattered showers. The chance for rain is 40%. Temperatures will be in the low 60s in the morning with highs in the mid-70s. Winds will be breezy out of the north at 10 to 20 mph.

Isolated showers remain possible on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with partly cloudy skies. Temperatures for the second half of the week will be in the low 60s in the morning with highs reaching the upper 70s.
