ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — Two people have been charged after a chase in one county led to more discoveries in another Triad county.

According to the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office, during a patrol early Sunday morning, a deputy saw a white Honda van with no tail lights and attempted to stop the vehicle. The van didn’t stop and drove away “at a high rate of speed.”

The deputy chased the vehicle, which deputies say was going over 100 mph at times, until eventually, it stopped at Barnes Street near Diesel Drive in Reidsville. When the deputy got out of his car, the vehicle drove away again and another chase ensued towards Greensboro.

Guilford County Sheriff’s Office and Greensboro Police Department were notified of the ongoing chase as Rockingham County deputies continued their pursuit.

I went to school with the female and she was always into some kind of drama and trouble. She looked lots better back then. It’s a shame what drugs do to a person.
