Winston-Salem man dies after shooting on Clemmonsville Circle, police say

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — A Winston-Salem man was shot and killed on Tuesday, according to a Winston-Salem Police Department news release.

Around 12:48 p.m., WSPD officers responded to Clemmonsville Circle when they were told about a shooting.

Arriving officers found Anthony Jerome Roseboro, 50, of Winston-Salem, in the front yard of the home suffering from a gunshot wound.

EMS workers took Roseboro to the hospital where he died.

The incident does not appear to be a random act of violence, police say.
