FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A second suspect wanted in a deadly shooting that killed a 14-year-old in Johnsonville has been arrested, the Florence County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.

Kalebsolik Daron Singletary, 21, has been charged with murder, five counts of attempted murder and multiple weapons charges. Deputies arrested 19-year-old Yabriah Lewis in connection with the shooting days after it happened.

The charges stem from the shooting last month that killed Jakari Doctor and wounded another. Doctor was a student in the Florence 5 School District.

Deputies responded shortly after midnight on Sept. 18 for two gunshot victims in the parking lot of the Liberty Street Apartments in Johnsonville, the sheriff’s office said. Singletary was arrested in Lake City on Tuesday.

When he was originally detained, Singletary provided deputies with a false identification, but his identity was positively established by fingerprints, according to the sheriff’s office. Both Singletary and Lewis remain in the Florence County Detention Center without bond.
