Disney plans? Check out these new $46 flights out of North Carolina to central Florida

CHARLOTTE ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — While ticket prices at Disney World might be on the rise, a major deal has been announced on direct flights from the Charlotte area to central Florida that will help ease the pinch on your wallet.

Avelo Airlines announced on Thursday, Oct. 24, that one-way non-stop flights between Concord-Padgett Regional Airport and Lakeland International Airport are now being offered starting at a modest $46 price tag.

“Customers flying between Concord-Padgett and Lakeland can expect a smoother, quicker travel experience that Avelo provides in the smaller and more convenient airports we serve. We also expect Floridians to have great interest in the attractions of the Charlotte region,” officials said.

The route will operate twice a week on Thursday and Sunday. Avelo is also adding five routes to the slate from Concord featuring Boston, Albany, and Philadelphia.
