WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team was recognized with the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award sponsored by INTENT, as announced by the governing body on Wednesday. "I'm proud of our teams' academic efforts this past year," Head Coach AJ Bonetti said. Georgetown Athletics continues to set high standards both academically and athletically. Every one of our student-athletes at Georgetown puts themselves in a position to be successful and I'm glad that volleyball specifically was able to showcase its academic prowess this year.
