The Raiders reached the Kutztown 37-yard line but couldn’t score. Kutztown (7-0, 4-0 PSAC East) entered the game ranked third nationally in scoring defense and fourth in total defense.</p><p>Defensively, Shippensburg limited Kutztown to 50 rushing yards and intercepted two passes, with Josh Lesesne and Mike Fayemi each recording an interception. Kutztown’s offense broke through with a nine-play, 53-yard drive in the second quarter and added a 46-yard touchdown pass just before halftime to lead 21-0. Shippensburg’s only points came from a safety in the third quarter after a bad snap on a Kutztown punt.</p><p>Ely Ghameshlougy led Shippensburg with eight tackles, while Gabe Benjamin and Alex Sauve each contributed seven tackles. The Raiders play Bloomsburg next Saturday at 2 p.m.</p></div></body>
